Welcome to our library!
The Country School library is central to the life of our school. Students in Kindergarten through grade six come to the library for classes each week to hear stories, hone research skills, and check out books. Seventh and eighth graders use the library with their teachers for research and check books out independently. After school, students may study or complete homework assignments in the library.
We seek to expose our students to different genres of literature and to ensure that they also learn, through literature as well as through nonfiction, about different cultures and countries. While visiting the library and reading books is certainly an excellent way to learn about a variety of topics, reading is also a pleasurable, lifelong endeavor. We strive to nurture enthusiastic, lifetime readers!
