The Country School is an accredited member of the Association for Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS). AIMS is a statewide association of over 100 independent academic, college preparatory schools. Accreditation is subject to the terms of the AIMS evaluation procedure for a period of ten years. The Country School was most recently granted AIMS accreditation in 2006.

The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) is a membership organization representing approximately 1,200 independent schools and associations in the United States and abroad. They offer a broad variety of services to member schools and associations. The Country School has been a member of NAIS since 1956.
