Together for TCS - A New Community-Building Initiative Supporting the Cougar Fund

The Country School Advancement Office, with parent volunteers Kessler Bickford, Amy Brown, and Allie Prell, is excited to announce the launch of “Together for TCS.” Together for TCS reimagines the annual auction and Black and Gold Giving Challenge into a series of fall fundraising events at a time when the students and families are refreshed from summer break and energized by the promise of a new school year.

While the Black and Gold Giving Challenge is a newer tradition, the Country School auction, since its inception in the 1960s, has been one of the school’s most anticipated fundraising traditions. As we reimagine the fundraising efforts of our school, the community will hold dear the memory of making birthday wishes for TCS’s 90 birthday, riding the untamable mechanical bull, and celebrating life on the shore sipping and shucking. 

With Together for TCS, the Country School looks forward to new traditions in which students are an integral parts of the celebrations, the giving calendar is more streamlined, and donation requests happen during just one short timeframe. We are excited to bring our community together through the Let's Get Together Launch Party, the Black and Gold Giving Challenge, and Cougar Fest.

Gifts Fund the Gap

Parent gifts to the Cougar Fund make a meaningful impact. Tuition at The Country School covers only about 80% of the cost of providing the full TCS experience for our students. The Cougar Fun closes that gap to enable:
