Lights on the Bay
What holiday experience in Maryland would be complete without a drive-through of Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park? $15/car, open daily 5-10pm. http://www.lightsonthebay.org 
 
Easton Volunteer Fire Department
Visit the EVFD to see an amazing train garden with six different trains, including one kids can activate with the push of a button. The garden takes up 400 square feet and includes trains of different sizes and more than 100 snow villages. This is the department’s fourth year hosting the display, which is assembled and run by the firefighters. November 23 through December 31. Weeknights 6-8 p.m., Saturdays 2-8 p.m., and some Sundays. The Nutcracker
The Ballet Theatre of Maryland kicks off its Nutcracker performances December 6 and 13 with two Thursday morning mini-shows—performances especially staged for school groups and senior centers held at Maryland Hall For Creative Arts. At only $10 a ticket, the goal is to introduce Ballet to young children from as many elementary schools in the area as possible. Saturday and Sunday performances (December 8–9; 15–16) bring patrons flooding in to see the full-length ballet. Sunday Matinee goers are even invited to a Sugar Plum party with holiday treats, crafts, a holiday sing-along and a visit with Santa. Chesapeake Family Life will be giving away tickets to every performance for the 2018 show. ICE!
The Gaylord National Hotel presents ICE!™ – an indoor wonderland where your family can explore a variety of holiday scenes created entirely of 2 million pounds of ice, including thrilling ice slides that stand more than two stories tall. Guests can experience ICE! featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas at Gaylord National at the Baltimore Harbor. U.S. Botanic Garden Holiday Show
This winter, take a trip across America as this annual holiday show, Season's Greenings, showcases Roadside Attractions. In the model train show, trains will chug around, below, through, and above plant-based recreations of iconic sights from across the United States. Explore classic attractions like Texas' Cadillac Ranch, Colorado's hot-dog-shaped Coney Island Hot Dog Stand, South Dakota's Corn Palace, New Jersey's Lucy the Elephant, and many more

Trains & Planes Holiday Garden
The Trains & Planes holiday train garden is a trip into the past with miniature trains, villages, tunnels and depots that bring history to life. The old-fashioned trains and planes are set up by train enthusiasts from the National Capital Trackers club.

B&O Railroad Museum’s Holiday Express
All aboard the B&O’s Magical Holiday Express, a holiday spectacular celebration devoted to trains of all sizes and shapes, holiday festivities, and a winter wonderland of family fun and activities. Walk through a 30-foot Christmas tree in the center of the B&O's historic roundhouse and enjoy all new holiday-themed weekends, featuring some of your favorite guests. Open daily in December and January (closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day). Annmarie Garden in Lights
