    SUSAN SCHORR graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, earned an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and received graduate credit for her training in Orton Gillingham Instruction. Prior to joining The Country School in 2005, Susan taught third and fourth grades in Talbot and Caroline County. She taught first grade at TCS for 16 years before moving up to third grade.
     
    Susan and her husband, Wade, moved from Anne Arundel County to the shore with their three daughters more than 25 years ago because of its abundant choices in outdoor activities and the friendliness and convenience of small town life. They have three grandchildren.

    HEATHER STEPHENSON grew up in New Jersey and earned her Bachelors of Science in Health and Physical Education from Lynchburg College now, the University of Lynchburg, in Virginia. Previously, Heather and her husband, Bobby, taught at Valwood School in Valdosta, GA. Heather and Bobby, a history teacher at Gunston School, have two sons, Lane and Porter, along with a chocolate Lab named Ruby and a black Lab named Bow, with whom they enjoy getting outdoors and exploring.
