START OF THE DAY
Third graders begin the day with a group meeting with their teacher and classmates. This is a way to connect with friends and hear about planned activities and expectations for the day. Often our meeting includes a read aloud, sharing time, and/or whole group synchronous learning.

CORE ACADEMICS
Our 3rd grade students receive live instruction in Math, Writer’s Workshop, and Language Arts. Enrichment is provided through small-group book clubs, read alouds, and differentiated content. Small group lessons are integrated weekly, as are 1:1 instruction sessions as needed.
SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Social and emotional development is kept at the forefront of our distance learning program through small, unstructured get-togethers such as Lunch Bunch meetings with friends and weekly 1:1 check-ins with the teacher.
