The Country School Opens for its 86th Year

By: Annie Hasselgren
The Country School will reopen tomorrow for its 86th year. With new health and safety procedures in place, as well as many new faces, the staff and faculty looks forward to welcoming everyone back to campus.
The Country School staff and faculty are thrilled to welcome everyone back for the '20-21 school year. After many months of planning and discussion, we are well positioned to ensure that this year is not just productive and fun, but also safe for everyone in the building.

It was a busy summer, with our faculty hard at work planning for the year and engaging in meaningful professional development. Our COVID Task Force and Reopening Committee have left no stone unturned when it comes to implementing policies and procedures that will mitigate the risk of COVID to the best of our ability. Mr. Ennist got quickly up to speed on our school culture and looks forward to opening day when he can greet all of you in person.

Although some elements of the school year will be necessarily different, what remains is The Country School's unparalleled commitment to excellence in education, to building the character of all of our students, and to providing the joyous, hands-on experience our families know and love.
