Open to 5th grade mothers.
This brief talk and following Q & A session will aim to address the challenges adolescent girls face today, the reasons why we see them struggling, and what we can do to help them. Specifically, we will discuss the development of girl dynamics, how to help girls practice assertive and appropriate self-expression, emotional intelligence, and healthy relationships. This talk will end with practical advice for parents that can be executed at home and in the community.
