Secondary School Night 2023

By: Kristy Nkanza
On Tuesday, October 3, over 30 secondary school representatives visited our Secondary School Night, an event open to students in grades 5-8.
Each year, in early October, representatives from a wide range of schools visit our campus to give Upper School students (5th-8th grade) the opportunity to learn about all the different options they have beyond graduation from 8th grade. Participating schools include public schools, as well as boarding and day independent schools. Just in the last two years, our graduates have been accepted to a total of 32 schools, and have gone on to attend 22 of those schools. This event is organized by Secondary School Counselor, Katie Hertelendy. Katie begins working with students in 7th grade to look at high school options and prepare students to apply. Many people ask where students go after The Country School. Click here to find out!
